Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in we receive your email address and, depending on your sign-in method, your name and profile photo from your authentication provider (e.g. Google).
• Videos you upload. The workout videos you submit for analysis, which may contain your image and surroundings.
• Derived movement data. Body-pose landmarks, rep counts, tempo, and quality metrics our system computes from your videos.
• Payment information. If you purchase access, payments are processed by Stripe. We receive a confirmation and limited metadata (such as the email used and the product purchased); we do not store full card details.
• Usage and device data. Basic technical information needed to operate the service, such as request logs and error diagnostics.

How we use your information

We use your data to analyze your lifts and return coaching insights, maintain your session history, operate and secure the service, process purchases, and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your uploaded videos to train models without your consent.

How your data is stored and shared

Data is stored using Google Cloud and Firebase. We share data only with service providers that help us run Argus — Google (authentication, storage, hosting) and Stripe (payments) — and only as needed to provide the service, or where required by law. Data is encrypted in transit.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Account menu → Delete account) or via our account deletion page. Deletion permanently removes your profile, analyses, uploaded videos, and access tokens.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@arguslifts.ai.

Children

Argus is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
